Religious Education
"Our mission at St. Charles Borromeo Religious Education is to support parents in their role as the primary educators of their children in the Catholic faith. At your child’s Baptism, you accepted the responsibility to nurture their spiritual growth and guide them in participating in the Sacramental life of the Church. As partners in this journey, we are committed to helping families develop a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."
Our main office is open during office hours on:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Classes are held on:
📅 Fridays: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
📅 Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Our Religious Education program thrives thanks to the dedication of our incredible volunteers. Our devoted catechists generously give their time to teach and guide our children, helping them grow in faith and prepare for their sacraments.
Our Catechists are dedicated volunteers from our parish community, including both adults and teens who have previously received their sacrament through our program. We are deeply grateful for each and every one of them. All catechists aged 18 and older have completed their Virtus training and are fully equipped to teach.

Deacon David Rivera serves as the Director of Religious Education.
Sacramental Programs:

As a sacramental Church, the Catholic faith places great importance on active participation in the sacraments. During their religious education journey, children receive three key sacraments: Penance, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Typically, Penance and Eucharist are received.
First Reconciliation
Through biblical stories such as the Good Samaritan, the Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, children learn about Christian living and the boundless love and mercy of God, who is always ready to forgive.
First Eucharist
Children deepen their understanding of the Mass, the sacraments of initiation, the liturgical seasons, and key biblical stories like the Loaves and Fishes and the Last Supper. This preparation fosters a fuller and more active participation in the life of the Church.
Confirmation
As a Sacrament of Initiation, Confirmation completes Baptism by strengthening the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It empowers individuals to embrace God’s call, serve the Church, and live as faithful witnesses of Christ.
